A Record of Green power’s Associated Gas Management Project in Tuha Oilfield​

In May 2026, the technical team of Green power arrived in Xinjiang—a land of vast potential. Traveling thousands of kilometers from Shandong, we came with a clear purpose: to help improve the global environment and contribute to a better future.
Xinjiang, which makes up one-sixth of China, is rich in oil and natural gas resources. Yet, the associated gas produced during extraction has long posed an environmental challenge. Traditionally, it has been released directly or flared—a practice that wastes resources and harms the environment.
As a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the R&D, production, sales, and service of gas-fired generating sets, Green power understands its responsibility. Guided by the corporate mission of “Building a Cleaner World, Powering a Brighter Future,” we utilize advanced gas generator technology to convert associated gas into electricity—maximizing resource efficiency and reducing emissions.

II.A Major Milestone: Launch of the Tuha Oilfield Project
On May 15, 2026, Shandong Green Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Green Power”) was officially awarded the 2026 Contract for Scattered Natural Gas Power Generation Services in the Zhundong Production Management Area of the Tuha Oilfield.
This marks the first associated gas management project undertaken by Green Power in the Tuha Oilfield, and a tangible demonstration of the company’s mission on the land of Xinjiang.
Project Scope Includes:​

• Utilization of scattered natural gas for power generation at well stations and production platform.
  
• Daily management of gas generator sets and supporting facilities (transformers, distribution cabinets, etc.)
  
• Operation and maintenance, fault handling, emergency repair, and production support activities
  
• Minimum monthly power generation of 300,000 kW·h, with an annual minimum total of 3.6 million kW·h
  

III.Impact & Carbon Reduction: Green Power’s Contribution to the Dual Carbon Goals​

【Economic Benefits: Cutting Costs, Adding Value】​

• Annual Power Generation:​ Expected to reach 3.6 million kW·h, directly integrated into the oilfield grid to effectively reduce external electricity purchases.
  
• Resource Recovery:​ This approach recovers approximately 1 million cubic meters of natural gas per year that was previously flared and enabling efficient resource circulation.
  

【Environmental Benefits: Significant Emission Reductions】​

• Standard Coal Saved:​ About 1,080 tons per year.
  
• Carbon Reduction:​ Equivalent to reducing annual CO₂ emissions by ~2,800 tons, SO₂ by ~15 tons, and NOx by ~8 tons.
  
• Ecological Impact:​ The annual CO₂ reduction of ~2,800 tons is equivalent to the carbon sequestration of 150,000 saplings growing for 10 years (based on China's Forestry Carbon Sink Project Guidelines)
  

【Policy Alignment: Supporting National Strategies】​
The project strongly supports China’s “Carbon Peak by 2030, Carbon Neutrality by 2060” goals and aligns with the Green and Low-Carbon Development Action Plan for Oil and Gas Fields. It offers a replicable model for achieving “zero emission of associated gas” in the energy sector.
